Go to any large bookstore - check out all the shelves that have >>anything<< to do with "self-improvement", including religion, philosophy, spirituality, etc. Why are there so many, many titles in each and every category. If one of them actually TOLD the truth (and the Whole Truth), what need would there be for others?
If the 4thway books - or Buddhist books, or Christian books - actually had the information any individual needed to become a Fully Conscious and Enlightened Being - not, let us say, unlike, Gurdjieff, Buddha, Jesus - and someone read them, got supremely enlightened, and told literally everyone, and more and more found out and did likewise, well, what further need would there be for the Buddhist/Christian/X-istian books? NONE! Nada. No further need.
So the only conclusion that can be allowed, is that the truth is not out there in books - entertainment, yes, nothing more. Period. And then, the revolutionary next effort, which almost NO ONE can do, would be to stop thinking about that, further. Stop thinking/considering whether or not you previously understood something fully. If you finally learn how to ride a bike, you never ever again think about how, or whether you still know how, blah, blah, blah. NO! Never. No further need. You get on that bike, and ride the Wind......
A person who sets out on a journey to a place he's never been, and knows nothing about, brings nothing along with him - not even his books, and memories of reading them. He goes naked into the journey, and can only pick up bits and pieces along the way. (How they got there, can only be known by him.) There is no logic out there, and he can not organize those bits the way he did before setting out. (If that happens it becomes part of the pre-journey world only.) However, he must store them in any case, and be able to retrieve them instantly, if not even before that.
(How they got there, can only be known by him!!!)
.......ride the Mind......
